Meet at the church at 3:45PM to head over to the slopes in NC. Families and friends are invited! After skiing, we will return to the church and be “locked-in” until Saturday morning, when the Continuous Campfire will be lit downtown. After the lighting and breakfast, we will return to the church for pickup.
Who: Scouts, families, and friends.
When: We will meet at the church at 3:45 p.m. on Friday February 1. We will finish early Saturday morning (we will call for rides when back at the church).
Where: We will drive in the church van to Ski Beech in Banner Elk, NC to enjoy night skiing, camp overnight at the church, and attend the lighting of the Continuous Campfire on Saturday morning.
What to bring: Warm clothes for skiing. Dress in layers – long underwear, warm pants and shirt, warm socks, warm coat, gloves, hat, etc. Waterproof is best. Sleeping bag or blankets, pad, sleep clothes, etc. for sleeping back at the church. Extra set of dry clothes for the lighting of the campfire on Saturday morning.

- Lift Ticket Only: $20.00
- LT + Ski Rental: $33.00
- LT + Snowboard: $45.00
- You will need pocket money for fast food supper on Friday and also for breakfast on Saturday after the campfire lighting.
