The scout slogan is “do a good turn daily.” Each year, our troop and pack collect a tremendous amount of food for the Emergency Food Pantry. We’re hoping to break our record this year. We need all scouts and their families to help with this massive service project!
A big thanks to all those who came out last weekend and helped us distribute the food bags. We continue the Scouting for Food drive this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. when we assemble at the church to pick up the food bags.
Scouts should be present in full uniform, and once again we need parent volunteer drivers.
We will collect, sort, and box the food. Afterwards, we will deliver the food to the Food Pantry.
We need all our scouts there to help with this important project.
This counts toward the service hours requirement which all scouts need for rank advancement.
