Troop 8 Hosts Veterans Dinner this Saturday – Need Scout Volunteers
All of our scouts are required to perform service as part of rank advancement. This is a great opportunity to get some service time and honor our veterans. Troop 8 is partnering with Vietnam veteran and martial arts instructor David Collins to host a combat veterans’ dinner this Saturday night June 24 at Fire and Water Martial Arts in Blountville. Troop 8 will be in charge of the evening’s flag ceremony and also cooking and serving the meal. This will be a great opportunity for Troop 8 Scouts to perform a service for some of our local heroes.
