Laurel Falls is a gem in our region. The beautiful, full waterfall is just a short hike on the Appalachian Trail in the Dennis Cove area near Hampton, TN. The hike there is an easy 3-mile round trip, and the swimming hole at the bottom of the falls is both safe and refreshing on a hot day!
Troop 8 has planned a day hike for tomorrow, Saturday September 3. We hope you and your scout can join us. Please notify Mr. Rutherford via text (423-335-7542) or email if you’re going. All you need is a daypack with lunch, rain gear, water bottle, and maybe a change of clothes if you plan on swimming.
