Scout Expo at Appalachian Fairgrounds-UPDATE
On Saturday, Troop 8 will man the archery range at the Scout Expo, a fun way to earn service hours and improve leadership skills.
The days events will be followed by an evening campfire program, at which time our newest OA nominees will be called forward for recognition and further instruction.
We will meet at the church at 10:00AM to load archery equipment – We will NOT be camping Saturday night dus to scheduling conflicts among the leadership; those who can’t cOn my way. In the morning are encouraged to meat us there ano do their part during the day. Hours count toward service requirements for advancement.
Scouts can bring some pocket money for concessions. The Coleman Outlet store will be there for anyone who is looking to buy some gear.
We will have a van leaving the expo around 5; Mr. Champagne & Mr. Tollie will remain for the campfire with the OA candidates (they should bring money for dinner) and return the boys to the church after the ceremony (time TBA).
